DFG 238 (JFM 238D)
DFG238 (JFM 238D) was new to Crossville in 1966 and it was allocated to Chester depot.

This bus was the last rear loader Bristol FS that Crossville purchased.

The bus then went into Preservation with Carter's coach services (Colchester)

After passing it's class VI MOT it entered service in Colchester.

It then had several moves:
> PK Historical Vehicles, HUNMANBY, North Yorkshire - put into service in Scarborough
> Mr G Carr of Derby
> Moved with Mr Carr to Tomintoul, Banffshire where it was put into service on the "Heather Hopper" between Ballater and Tomintoul.

In 1992, Mr Carr donated the vehicle to the Grampian Transport Museum where it has been restored into Glenlivet and District livery.

It came to King Street Depot to operate a heritage service to the Grampian Transport Museum but this never materialised and has been an active rally vehicle in recent years.
