K1 GRT
The one and only Alexander Cityranger bodied Mercedes-Benz O405G artic.

At the time this bus entered service, Mercedez buses were very uncommon in Britain unlike today with all the Citaro vehicles.
K1 had some special features including the first bus to have intergrated air conditioning and low floor easy access kneeling.
Between 1991 and 1997, 49 standard two axle vehicles entered service.
K1 GRT was the first such bus to operate in Aberdeen until 2000 when the next generation Wright Eclipse Fusion entered service.

This vehicle was used mainly on the bridges route connecting the Bridge of Don and the Bridge of Dee.

After 15 years of service in Aberdeen, K1 GRT was taken out of service, more for technical reasons, and placed into the A&DTPT hands.
After coming into preservation, K1 was repainted from First Group Barbire 2 livery back into its orginal Grampian Regional Transport livery.
